Silvia Lovergine was born in Bari on June 14th 1983. She received the Bachelor Degree in Engineering of Computing Systems in March 2008 from the Politecnico di Bari, Italy, and the Master Degree (cum laude) in Engineering of Computing Systems in December 2010 from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. From January 2011, she is a Ph.D. student in Information Technology at the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione of the Politecnico di Milano.
Her research interests include high-performance computer architectures and embedded systems, with particular reference to parallelizing techniques for multi-core systems, hardware/software co-design and automatic synthesis of accelerating hardware cores.
