Andrea Castelletti won the “iEMSs - Early Career Research Excellence Award”

The International Environmental Modelling Software Society awarded the Early Career Research Excellence Award to Andrea Castelletti, Assistant Professor at DEI within the Planning and management of environmental systems research group.
iEMSs is a not-for-profit organization uniting private persons and organizations dealing with environmental modelling, software and related topics.
The award ceremony took place during the International Congress on Environmental Modelling and Software, which was held from 5 to 8 July 2010 in Canada on "Modelling for Environment's Sake".
The aim of the congress was to enhance environmental processes and decision making by fostering the discussion and interchange of challenges, solutions, ideas, new methods and techniques, and future research lines in environmental modelling and software.
