Aidin Amirkhani was born in 1990 in Tehran, Iran.
While his mother tongue language is Persian, he speaks fluent English and knows French as well. Studying in Italy, he is also learning Italian language as a matter of necessity. In 2013, He received his bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in electronics engineering at K.N.Toosi University of Technology in Tehran, Iran with a final project entitled “Design and Fabrication of an Organic LED in Near-Infrared Range”. In 2015 he received his Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Electronics engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis entitled “Electrical characterization and analytical modeling of select devices for crossbar arrays”.
Since 2015, he is a PhD scholar in Electronics Department of Politecnico di Milano (DEIB) where his research is mainly focused on development of Integrated Circuits for microstrip detectors readout. His professional working skills include: Experiment of working at clean-room and getting acquainted with device fabrication techniques such as spin-coating and physical vapor deposition.
Working at Electron devices Lab. of Politecnico di Milano to ameliorate the skills and understanding in physics of electronics and to become proficient in some simulation and modeling softwares. Today, he expands his research interest to application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design and research in this field respectively.
