She received her bachelor degree in Information Technology from Islamic Azad University South branch of Tehran in her home country, Iran, in 2011. Her final thesis was on “Wireless sensor networks technology with emphasis on Industrial Monitoring“.
She was awarded with UniverComo Gold Scholarship, that is a merit-based 2-year student aid for studying M.Sc. in Computer Engineering majored in Communication and Society at Politecnico di Milano, Como campus. She received her M.Sc. degree in October 2014 with the thesis titled "Design and Development of a User Interface for a Mobile Personal Indoor Navigation Assistant for the Elderly", which was part of the ALMA project (an international project focuses on mobility issues in disable or elderly people) under the supervision of Prof. Sara Comai. Currently she is a PhD fellow at Politecnico di Milano, in the department of Electronics, Computer and Bioengineering (DEIB), under the supervision of Prof. Luciano Baresi, holding a theme-based scholarship for research focused on "Software Technologies for the Integration of Multiple Personal and Wearable Devices”. The goal of the research is development of methods, algorithms, technologies and middleware infrastructures that enable the communication among personal/wearable devices and the distribution of information among them. These systems should also interact with the objects that belong to the smart space of which the person is part. The research also is carried out at the S-CUBE lab, and thus she also cooperates with Telecom Italia researchers and her co-advisor is Luca Lamorte from Telecom Italia.
Her research interests are: Software engineering, Smart spaces, Internet of things, Personal/Wearable devices, Mobile technologies, android applications and devices, network protocols, middleware infrastructures, sensors.
