Matteo Parigi Polverini received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree, both in Automation and Control Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, in July 2011 and October 2013, respectively, defending his M.Sc. thesis in real-time self-collision avoidance in dual arm humanoid robots. From January to October 2014, he was research assistant at Politecnico di Milano, focusing his research activity on the optimisation and control of industrial automated systems. In November 2014, he joined the PhD program in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano, with a specific interest on industrial robotics topics, including control of robot interaction with the environment and safe human-robot interaction.
