Saleem Shahid (PhD Student, DEIB) is representing PoliMI in Global Ericsson Innovation Awards (EIA 2016). His Idea “Smart Windows”, with planar-embedded antennas that turn windows into a communication medium, supported by solar power generation capabilities, has been selected for Final round of EIA 2016 from total 843 teams worldwide. His team ‘SherPak’ is competing in the finals with MIT (USA), University of British Columbia (Canada) and Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain). The final event will take place in Stockholm on 26th May, 2016.
