Sommario
The size and geographical distribution of large-scale energy and process systems can be prohibitive for centralized optimal control and estimation methods.
In such cases, partition-based approaches, which exploit communication between subsystems, are a promising alternative. In this talk, an iterative, partition-based moving horizon estimator is presented, and its favorable properties are illustrated with numerical examples.
