The Business Accelerator www.ai.polimi.it, supports the creation of new enterprises by offering services to potential entrepreneurs in the start-up phase.
The Business Accelerator, which is managed by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano since 2007, delivers the following services:
- Incubation services to assist high-tech start up enterprises with professional counseling in business organisation and management.
- Services for stimulating the creation of new enterprises, by evaluating the requests for entering the incubator; connecting with the various initiatives by private and public institutions that stimulate the start-up of enterprises; assisting the formulation of business plans; collecting documentation on the opportunities of financing new entrepreneurial initiatives; promoting seminars with experts for the presentation of the state-of-the-art initiatives in entrepreneurship.
Since 2000 the Politecnico di Milano has incubated 64 companies; currently the Business Accelerator incubates 19 companies and has offices in Milano (Leonardo and Bovisa), Como, and Lecco.
