Prof. NORGIA MICHELE
Full professor
Michele Norgia was born in Omegna, Italy, in 1972. He received the degree with honours in Electronics Engineering from the University of Pavia in 1996 and in 2000 he received the Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering and Computer Science. Until 2004 he worked as post-Doc researcher in the Optoelectronics group of the University of Pavia. In 2006, he joined the Electronics and Information Science Department of the Politecnico di Milano as an Assistant Professor in Electronic Measurements. In 2014 he becomes Associate Professor and since 2016 he is Full Professor in Electronic Measurements. His main research interests are optical and electronic measurements, interferometry, chaos in lasers, optical frequency standards, micro-electro-mechanical sensors, biomedical measurements and instrumentation. He is the author of more than 250 papers published in international journals or conference proceedings. Prof. Norgia is Senior Member of IEEE and member of the Italian Association “Group of Electrical and Electronic Measurements”.
