Nicoletta Di Blas is a researcher with the Department of Electronics and Information of Politecnico di Milano. She graduated in Classics and obtained a Ph.D. in Linguistic Sciences from The Catholic University, Milan. She currently teaches Communication Theory for Politecnico di Milano (Como campus). She also teaches Communication for Cultural Heritage for the University of Lugano (Switzerland), at the TEC–CH (Technology-Enhanced Communication for Cultural Heritage) master course. She works for the HOC-lab of Politecnico di Milano (http://hoc.elet.polimi.it
) in projects related to the following areas: Communication for cultural heritage with new technologies, design and evaluation of the pedagogical impact of e-learning advanced projects (3D cooperative worlds), and linguistic interpretation of human-computer interaction. She authored numerous scientific publications in international journals and conferences.
