Angelo Geraci received his Laurea degree cum laude in Electronic Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy in 1993. In 1996 he received cum laude the PhD degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. He has been an Assistant Professor since March 1999 and an Associate Professor of digital electronics since December 2004 at the Department of Electronics and Information (DEI) of the Politecnico di Milano. His research activity is mainly focused on digital electronics, in the fields of nuclear and medical electronics, electronic instrumentation and microelectronics. He is scientific collaborator of the Italian National Nuclear Physics Institute (INFN) since 1995. On February 2003 he has been elevated to the grade of Senior Member of IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Society.
He is author of more than 90 publications on international congress proceedings and journals. The IEEE Transactions Prize Paper award for 2004 has been presented to him by the IEEE Power Electronic Society.
