Matteo Cesana was born in Milano (Italy) in 1975. He received the "Laurea" degree (MS equivalent) in Telecommunication Engineering and the PhD in Information Engeneering from the Politecnico di Milano in 2000 and 2004 respectively. He spent seven months from September 2002 to March 2003 as a visiting researcher in the Wireless Adaptive Mobility Lab at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He is now working at the Electronics and Information Department of the Politecnico di Milano as a Post Doc researcher. His current research activities mainly involve packet access in wireless cellular networks, ad hoc and personal area networks. He is a member of the IEEE Communications and Computer Societies.
