Alberto Gatto, researcher in PoliCom Lab, as a member of the Virgo/Ligo collaboration, won the Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics.
The Selection Committee of the Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics awarded this Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics recognizing scientists and engineers contributing to the momentous detection of gravitational waves, announced on February 11, 2016.
