DEIS - New H2020 Project
January 18th, 2017
Abstract
Federica Villa and Marco Marcon, two DEIB Assistant Professors, and their research group take part in “DEIS - Dependability Engineering Innovation for Cyber-Physical Systems” research project.
Started in January 2017, it is one of the new European projects funded under the H2020 program, and it deals with the development of highly distributed and autonomous Cyber-Physical-Systems (CPS).
Principal task is the integration of stand-alone 2D/3D vision SPAD cameras for intelligent physiological parameter monitoring of drivers inside vehicles. Main goal will be the development of sensor technologies which allow physical objects to be sensed and controlled across existing network infrastructure, by exploiting the concept of Digital Dependability Identity (DDI).
