Villa and Marcon awarded the “DEIS” research contract
November 9th, 2016
Abstract
Federica Villa and Marco Marcon have been awarded the “DEIS” (Dependability Engineering Innovation for Cyber-Physical Systems) research contract about the development of highly distributed and autonomous Cyber-Physical-Systems (CPS). Principal task is the integration of stand-alone 2D/3D vision SPAD cameras for intelligent physiological parameter monitoring of drivers inside vehicles. Main goal will be the development of sensor technologies which allow physical objects to be sensed and controlled across existing network infrastructure, by exploiting the concept of Digital Dependability Identity (DDI), in collaboration with AVL, Siemens and General Motors.
