He was born in 1956. Full Professor of Electronics from 1990, first at the University of Milan, then (1993) at the Politecnico di Milano, where he had been previously an Assistant Professor (1983-1990). In 1987-1988 he was a visiting scientist at AT&T Bell Laboratoires, Murray Hill, NJ. His research activity is mainly focused on the fields of nuclear electronics, electronic instrumentation and microelectronics.
